Feed And Elevate Your Faith
As we embark on a new year, and decade, many of us have goals, dreams and visions we want to accomplish and see fulfilled in the years ahead of us.
I don’t know about you, but I need to elevate my faith, as I pursue and work towards implementing my goals, dreams, and visions.
“The more elaborate or grandiose your dreams, visions, and goals,
so too will your faith level need to be.”
There are times along our journey as believers, we will find our faith wavering. This doesn’t mean we have given up on what we believe in. It means we need to do some things in order to build back up our faith, which has gradually dwindled over time. We have to return or get to the place where we are no longer doubting or wavering in our belief system. We need to feed and elevate our faith.
The Bible says “Without faith it is impossible to please God” that alone says it all. We cannot or will not be pleasing to God without faith. The core of receiving Salvation is by Faith. If you don’t believe it, you cannot receive it.
Whenever I find myself in a place of discouragement, feeling anxious, not trusting Jesus for a good outcome, I know my faith level has dropped significantly. There are different degrees and levels to which your faith can drop.
This makes me feel extremely bad when I am not trusting Jesus, because His track record has proven otherwise, that I can, and should trust Him. I know it must hurt His heart when we as His children don’t trust Him.
I always try and put myself in the place of our Heavenly Father. As a parent I know I wouldn’t feel good if my daughter didn’t trust me.
I have experienced times when It has been difficult pushing pass that place of doubt, oh but what a peaceful place when I am trusting, believing, and keeping the faith. I love that place of freedom.
When we see no way out, and our faith is failing us, it’s both important and beneficial for us to feed our faith in order to elevate it.
To elevate our faith, it’s crucial to make time to read the word of God, and believe it. To spend time in prayer with Him where He can pour into us His confidence, and all that is needed for us to keep moving forward.
“Feeding our faith to elevate it has to be done on a regular basis. We must think upon,
and speak those encouraging faith increasing declarations, even when we don’t “feel” like it.”
By actively doing these things, we will find our faith rising, and gain back our confidence in Jesus, knowing that He is working out our circumstances.
Remember “Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.” What does that really mean? It simple means we have to anchor our hope believing that all will end well, even when we haven’t seen our desired end result as yet with our natural eyes.
Feed and elevate your faith by pondering on this fact, that Jesus has it all in control. He is mindful of you, and me and all of our needs, but most importantly, He is very faithful. He will come through for us. The outcome will be good, as we do our part.
Remember “All things work together for the good of them who loves Him, therefore I encourage you to keep loving on Jesus, and feed your faith to a place of elevation.
What are the things that you are doing to feed and elevate your faith?
